Dr. Abdulkhaliq Jassem Alsalman is an assistant professor at College of Pharmacy at Northern Border University. He has completed his Bachelors in Pharmacy from King Saud University. He then graduated with his Master and PhD degrees in Pharmacotherapy at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). He also completed a patient safety fellowship and postdoctoral fellowship at the Medical College of Virginia at Richmond, Virginia in the US. Prior to going to VCU; he worked as hospital pharmacist in King Abdulziz-National Guard Hospital.
He has over 10 years’ experience in research, clinical practice and teaching in pharmacy practice and pharmacotherapy. Dr. Alsalman has published several manuscripts and a book chapter and has been awarded several international research awards. His research interests include sickle cell anemia pain, addiction studies, mixed method research, patient-reported outcomes, psychometric evaluation, and pharmacoepidemiological studies.
